<image:caption>After the original wood was stripped and sanded, various methods were used to fill, rebuild and replace the cracks, pits, and missing pieces of the pediment. The pieces were finely sanded again, and received one coat of primer and two coats of paint.</image:caption>

<image:caption>Every part of all four cheeks were completely dismantled. Shingles were replaced with cement board siding. As much of the lumber and trim that reasonably could be, was salvaged and reused. But this middle band of fascia moulding was far too deteriorated, and was replaced.</image:caption>
